11 Weeks Pregnant (Day 71 to Day 77)

What happens to you?

The time for the nuchal translucency (NT) ultrasound approaches. This ultrasound measures the thickness of the fluid at the back of the fetus’s neck. There is an association between the thickening of the neck in this area and the risk of Down syndrome.

Your uterus has grown significantly.

Advice: You should not forget that mild exercise and especially walking are very helpful.

What happens to your baby?

The upper and lower limbs of your baby are slowly becoming visible. The arms are longer than the legs.

Fetal development continues. The continuing organ development of the fetus is called organogenesis.

Its length ranges between 19 and 26 millimeters.
