COORDINATION PROCEDURE WITH THE DONOR

REA Fertility & IVF Unit carefully coordinates the donor and recipient or surrogate mother (GC) so that the recipient / surrogate mother is ready to receive donor eggs at the designated time.

When the test is completed for both the donor and recipient or surrogate mother, everyone will receive a low-dose oral contraceptive. After two to three weeks, each patient will be asked to receive GnRH accordingly (eg Suprefact), a synthetic hormone that "disables" the normal menstrual cycle and prevents ovulation.
