31 Weeks Pregnant (Day 211 to Day 217)
What happens to you?
Discuss with your doctor about the details of the labor, such as if you want an epidural anesthesia administration.
You keep gaining weight. Bladder pressure gets more intense and bathroom trips more frequent.
You may experience fluid retention and your feet may be swollen. Put them up so as the blood flows down.
You may feel discomfort and face difficulties in breathing... Be patient until your baby moves down to your pelvis.
Your breasts grow even bigger. Buy a bra that is at least one size bigger than the one you are currently wearing.
You might experience contractions of the uterine muscles that last about 30 seconds.
What happens to your baby?
Your baby’s brain is developing well and all of its sections are forming. The baby's kicks are more intense but its movement becomes less distinct as there is less space within the amniotic sac.
Your baby’s organs are continuing to mature and a layer of fat is formed underneath its skin.
Your baby weighs about 1,500 grams.
